Du Increases Home Internet Download speeds for Free

Dubai: Subscribers of du May download speeds of Around 500 Mbps On their home internet for free as part of the telecom provider’s Enid Al Fitr advertising. The offer began on Tuesday and will last for a limited time. Du did not say when the advertising could finish.

“Customers will benefit from the automatic upgrade which Will be Performed at no extra charge or devotion and with zero modification to their monthly invoice,” a spokesperson for du stated in a statement to Gulf News.

Last week, Etisalat upgraded its customers’ Du Internet oftentimes for free, over doubling many consumers’ download rates. As recently as December, Etisalat had climbed speeds of its own eLife bundles.

Internet Speed Affects?

We have all been there: The signal strength indicator on du internet calling that is infamous jumps between 2 and 3 bars, the Internet appears to work OK, yet downloads appear to take ages to complete, and even regular web browser appears to stutter occasionally.

I’ve used du internet speed test 7.0 to troubleshoot it further. The signal strength as reported from the seemed to be adequate, however, there was plenty of jumping up and down, and there was the speed of my downloading and an apparent correlation between the Wi-Fi signal power drops. Since even shifting the Laptop closer into the router did not help, more than just one laptop was affected by the problem, and with the settings of the router didn’t help, fiddling, I decided it’s time to get a new router. What a difference it made! Though the signal strength in DU Meter went just a few percents up, it turned into a stable line, and my speed went up to the maximum and stayed there! The moral of the story? Wi-Fi sign strength indicators lie. They show three bars, when in Fact the signal strength is not great. People Today return and buy Wi-Fi Equipment based on how many “bars” they get, and it is no surprise that some Manufacturers cheat a little. In the indicator in Windows, the end knows what the adapter driver tells it. And should some marketing department you’ll find those imaginary 3 bars.
